- Bouchard Pea
Found a pea that shares our last name - it's also difficult to find it anywhere else! This variety is a traditional Quebecois soup pea that is now fairly rare. Grows a very compact (dwarf) plant that will not need trellising. Let the peas dry down on the plant then pick the entire plant to dry them further. Thresh and winnow the peas off the plant and cook as you would split peas all winter! Available in limited quantity.
